VIO is a glassware collection defined by precise geometry and controlled shape. Developed in collaboration with Ichendorf Milano, each piece is handcrafted using a lampwork modelling technique from a single piece of borosilicate glass, ensuring elegance and refinement.
Balancing tradition and innovation, the collection focuses on simple, elegant lines of geometry, and everyday functionality, featuring a delicate curved bowl and a minimal stem. Crafted through expertise, VIO reflects a deep exploration of materiality and ergonomics through extensive research, testing and prototyping, to achieve the ideal thickness and proportion of the glass. The intentional curvature of the glass helps retain aromas, enhancing the sensory drinking experience. Designed for everyday use, VIO brings a sense of sophistication and timeless beauty to the table.
The collection features short and tall glasses, along with carafes, available in a range of colours such as blue, smoke, pink, and clear coloured in paste glass. The wine glasses remain clear, celebrating the drink's colour and feature different shapes for white, red, and sparkling varieties.
